Air Force plays Army on Saturday with the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy on the line
The Daily Colorado Springs team
If you follow the Falcons, Saturday is the big one. Air Force plays Army at West Point, and a win would bring back the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, which Air Force hasn't won since 2022. Before the Navy game last month, the team called it "a need, not a want at this point."

The matchup is The Diesel vs. The Mob, two of the country's top offensive lines. Army's Cale Hellums leads the Black Knights with 874 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns. Air Force's quarterback spot is less settled: five players have taken 20-plus snaps this season because of injuries. Evan Medders could be back from a turf toe, Kemper Hodges had 200 rushing yards and four touchdowns last week against UConn, and freshman Howard Fisher IV could make a second straight start.
