Colorado State Patrol warned drivers Tuesday to slow down and check for bicyclists and pedestrians after a bicyclist in Boulder County and three pedestrians in Denver died in separate crashes on Sunday.

Joel Lang—accused of second-degree murder and vehicular homicide for fatally hitting Kristy Kerst in a Monument McDonald’s parking lot—is scheduled to have his competency to stand trial assessed on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. while he remains in jail.

Bobby Allen Stark, 49, was sentenced to 10 years to life after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a child and trying to kidnap his adopted victim—he fled the U.S. but was later arrested in Guyana in a multinational effort.

The closure—timed with summer break at Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy—will restrict access at the Dublin Boulevard and Peterson Road intersection to authorized vehicles and require drivers to follow posted detour routes.
