- ➤ The Colorado Wildland Fire and Incident Management Academy held its winter training on Jan. 15 at Cheyenne Mountain State Park with over 900 firefighters and students learning techniques to tackle rising wildfire risks. - ➤ PPORA will use a $2.5 million grant to expand camping and connect segments of the Ring the Peak trail in the Pikes Peak region and launch a three year ambassador program at parks & trailheads.
