Cranksgiving Ride for Care and Share Food Bank

About this event

Rogue riders, let's get a group together to go out and have a great time supporting our local community while riding bikes! If you have bike trailer and/or an e-bike, it could come in handy on this adventure. Please RSVP if you plan on riding with us.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠?

• Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels that is part bike ride, part food drive, part scavenger hunt.

• All riders will be given a manifest at registration with grocery store checkpoints and a list of non-perishable goods to be purchased for donation to Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado. Riders will then plan their own route between these stops and depart all together with a 2 hour time limit.

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫?

• Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado works to gather and sort food from multiple sources, distributing to 278 partners across 29 counties.

• They make sure food gets to everyone who needs it—wherever they are. Because well-fed communities are better for us all.⁣

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞?⁣

• We offer 2 route options at approximately 8 miles and 15 miles depending on your ride preference and navigation skill! Simply choose when you register.

• There is no set route between the stores so knowledge of local streets or how to use google maps is very helpful!

• It is ok if you don't want to go to every checkpoint!

𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐞𝐞?⁣

• NO! This event is free to register and participate, but we do estimate racers will spend about $15-20 on non-perishable goods at the checkpoints along the route.
