- ➤ Two high school students were chosen to paint new murals for the CSPD Specialized Enforcement Division and began work in June after a local art contest; the project received paint and supplies from The Home Depot (7120 North Academy Blvd.) and now brightens the facility. - ➤ Local actor Gregory Williams Welsch portrays famed author C.S. Lewis in the one-man show Christmas with C.S. Lewis at the Ent Center for the Arts’ Shockley-Zalabak Theater at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. - ➤ Colorado Economic Development Commission awarded $58 million in incentives to a Colorado aerospace firm planning an expansion called Project Ladybug that could add 1,850 jobs over eight years through $35 million in job growth tax incentives + $8 million in CHIPS tax credits, with a final decision expected by mid-2026.
