Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers found a 9-month-old bear cub in the underground employee parking of CommonSpirit St. Francis Hospital and temporarily immobilized it in a wildlife trailer.
They tagged the cub and gave it a wake-up drug before relocating it to a rehabilitation facility in Frisco.
Brian Whitfield won the overall title in his third attempt at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent on Saturday morning with a finish time of 2:31:31 — young Colorado runners dominated the trail as they earned first titles in the iconic race.
Oliver Horton of Coronado broke his course record at the Cougar Classic on Sept.
