Sierra Madre St, where food, activities and games support the ‘Hope Needs Help’ campaign to close a budget gap of more than $1 million. Officials stated that the shortfall is forcing the closure of half of the center’s 31 sleeping units and the layoff of 13 staff—proceeds from food truck sales and on-site donations will fund support services for homeless families.
A driver died after their car flipped multiple times on Rampart Range Road northwest of Colorado Springs on Tuesday night & a passenger called police after walking away from the crash at about 12:15 a.m.
No one was injured when a car slammed into an east Colorado Springs apartment building on Sept 2nd just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Ruskin Drive and Airport Road—first responders found heavy damage to the building and debris on the lawn.
Colorado Springs police identified 42-year-old Cole Vannuci, who died after a shooting last month near the 1100 block of Branding Iron Circle when he refused to exit his vehicle and fired at officers, and police returned fire—no other persons were injured.
