CDOT said that on Sept.
2, crews will close the northbound I-25 right lane between Fillmore Street and Garden of the Gods Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and reduce lanes from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Workers will set girders on the bridge over Ellston Street from Mile Point 144 to Mile Point 146—Sinton Trail will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. on Sept. 3 as work is weather-dependent.
Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs will close one block to vehicles from Pikes Peak Avenue to East Kiowa Street through December starting Tuesday, Sept.
2 for the Tejon Street Revitalization Project, which will add sidewalk, patio and street improvements + offer affected businesses two-hour free parking vouchers. Pedestrians can use open routes to reach these businesses during construction.
