ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Early Thursday morning, Colorado Springs Police reported a crash closed all northbound lanes on Union Boulevard at Hancock Expressway—drivers are urged to avoid the area. KOAA News5
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Inspectors from the Office of Funeral and Mortuary Science Services found several decomposed bodies behind a hidden door at Davis Mortuary during an annual DORA inspection on Wednesday — Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter admitted the bodies were stored awaiting cremation and was issued a suspension as the investigation continues. 11 News

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ State tests show that most grades scored as well as or better than scores from before the pandemic except in fourth grade English language arts and eighth grade math and English language arts. In the Pikes Peak region, Cheyenne Mountain D-12, Academy D-20 and Lewis-Palmer ranked as top performers, although some schools saw slight drops in English scores while Chipeta Elementary at Colorado Springs D-11 posted the best local results.
