- ➤ Manitou Springs Police said an employee of the Pikes Peak Cog Railway was assaulted Saturday in the parking lot — the victim remains in critical condition while police investigate persons of interest who have been located. KVOR
- ➤ On Friday, a DUI checkpoint along Highway 16 in Fountain led Colorado State Patrol and the Fountain Police Department to arrest seven drivers out of 537 contacts—marking the first checkpoint of its kind in El Paso County in about 10 years. Colorado Springs Gazette
