- ➤ A Pikes Peak Cog Railway staff member was assaulted on Saturday in the railway parking lot (two persons of interest are under investigation) and is in critical condition as Manitou Springs police continue their probe. Colorado Springs Gazette
- ➤ A drunken driver turned himself in Saturday when police in northeast Colorado Springs arrested Jacob Clack—26 after finding him passed out behind the wheel of his running pickup truck at a precinct on Tutt Boulevard in the Stetson Hills neighborhood. Colorado Springs Gazette
- ➤ Colorado Springs police say 71-year-old David Butler, an at-risk adult, was last seen Sunday at 1 p.m. on the 1400 block of E. Buena Ventura Street near the Patty Jewett golf course and ask anyone with information to call 719-444-7000. KOAA News5

- ➤ The Widefield School District is partnering with Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity to build 41 affordable homes on district-owned land—14 of which will be reserved for public school employees and include a hands-on building curriculum for students.
