ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday night, July 26 around 10:30 p.m., a driver lost control on the 2400 block of Sierra Springs Drive on the south side of Colorado Springs—barreling through yards and striking a house before officers responded and cited the driver for careless driving. FOX21
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A suspect is on the run after a shooting near Citadel Mall on Sunday morning that injured two people—officers found one victim at the scene and another in the hospital, and both are expected to survive. 11 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Jared Polis faces sharp criticism for his wolf reintroduction program — the state released wolves on Western Slope lands in late 2023 and again in January, which has upset ranchers and local lawmakers over lost livestock and rising costs.
