COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Manitou Springs Pride Fest will be held Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Soda Springs Park at 1016 Manitou Ave. and is free; facing funding challenges after missing a grant, local organizers have raised about $5,000 of the event's $8,000 cost and will feature over 20 performers, vendors, and a Rainbow Market—showing strong community support.  Pikes Peak Bulletin
  • When a storm in Kentucky blew the roof off a shelter in April, a dog named Cosmo arrived at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region with a badly injured front leg.
