The City of Colorado Springs is upgrading bike infrastructure to get top marks from the League of American Bicyclists—eight new trail crossings will be added this summer and Sinton Trail will get a new concrete path with safety improvements starting Monday and lasting until mid-September, weather permitting.
Two new gun laws will take effect on July 1 that require additional live-fire training for a concealed carry license and a state-issued permit for gun shops with a $250,000 fine for noncompliance.
Spartan Defense in Colorado Springs opposed the measures + they argued that federal oversight already covers these requirements.
The Goldfield Drainage Improvements Project will begin construction on Monday, July 7 on Goldfield Drive between Fontaine Boulevard and Bradley Road.
