Colorado Springs firefighters responded on Wednesday to a 50ft by 50ft grass fire near Valley Hi Golf Course at Early Sun Drive and South Academy and quickly knocked it down amid dry, hot, and windy conditions.

The 36th annual Pikes Peak Pride Festival will light up downtown Colorado Springs this weekend with over 100 vendors, food, live entertainment and educational sessions celebrating queer joy.

The Pride Parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday along Tejon Street to Alamo Square Park.
