- ➤ Tammy Michele said her storage unit was broken into last week where she stored mementos of her daughter who died last year from a brain tumor—valuables including her daughter’s ashes, phone, and computer were stolen, and she is asking anyone with information to come forward. 11 News
- ➤ Police arrested a juvenile parolee after a hit-and-run two-vehicle crash near South Circle Drive and Monterey Road just before 5 p.m. Sunday in east Colorado Springs—witnesses saw him flee on foot and led officers to his hiding spot where a pistol with an illegal magazine was recovered, and all motorists sustained minor injuries. - ➤ Early Sunday at 2:10 a.m., Colorado Springs police responded to multiple shots-fired calls on Stanford Street and forced a speeding vehicle to pull over after it nearly struck an officer—police arrested a juvenile for vehicular eluding and reckless endangerment with no injuries reported.
