  • This weekend the Touch-A-Truck event returns to the Norris Penrose Event Center with more vehicles, giveaways and interactive exhibits for kids + young entrepreneurs. Organizers expect up to 15,000 visitors from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and ask for donations to support Friends of the Children.  Colorado Springs Gazette

  • Seven farmers’ markets operate in the greater Pikes Peak region — offering live music, fresh produce, and handcrafted goods at venues including Woodland Park, Black Forest, and Monument Hill.   • The City Planning Commission has recommended re-zoning land near Classical Academy Central Campus for Blackburn Communities' six-story housing project next to the elementary school.
