- ➤ A car crashed into a house in Colorado Springs on May 10th—police are investigating the cause. 11 News
- ➤ At 11:15 a.m. on May 10, Colorado Springs Fire Department crews responded to an elderly care facility at 3490 Centennial Boulevard near West Fillmore Street to investigate a source of smoke and by 11:45 a.m. had mitigated it—confirming all residents were safe. FOX21
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police arrested Brandon Jones—27—after a Thursday shooting near apartments by Palmer Park when a CSPD officer located a vehicle on the 3600 block of Parkmoor Village Drive on Friday, and he was charged with felony assault, menacing, and possession of methamphetamines along with a loaded rifle matching the one used in the shooting. - ➤ A man identified as 30-year-old Joshua Cody James Davis was arrested Friday after police found a stolen Chevy Tracker near Drennan Road and Drennan Industrial Loop North—he sped away, drove to T.J. Maxx, and was tasered for failing to surrender, and he now faces charges of motor vehicle theft, vehicular eluding and obstructing a peace officer. 11 News
- ➤ A man was arrested Friday after stealing a vehicle on the 600 block of South Academy Boulevard—34-year-old Kavon McDade reportedly assaulted the victim, took the keys, and later forced entry into an apartment complex where he was detained and charged with motor vehicle theft and robbery. 11 News
- ➤ Colorado Springs police arrested 27-year-old Brandon Jones Friday night after officers found a suspect vehicle on the 3600 block of Rebecca Lane following a shooting on the 3600 block of Parkmoor Village Drive on Thursday; police said he was found with a loaded long 5.56 rifle that matched the one used in the incident and a felony amount of methamphetamine. 11 News
- ➤ On Friday, police arrested 30-year-old Joshua Cody James Davis outside a T.J. Maxx store after he stole a Chevy Tracker and fled on foot—he was tased for minor injuries and now faces charges for motor vehicle theft, vehicular eluding and obstructing a peace officer. Colorado Springs Gazette
