- ➤ The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC partnered with a Morgan Stanley firm to launch the Multiple Employer Aggregation Program that helps small businesses meet state law requiring retirement savings plans. The program will ease costs and administrative work by saving companies between $3,000 and $10,000 annually. KOAA News5

- ➤ A juvenile was arrested Wednesday night at 11:55 p.m. on Corsicana Drive for car theft after police learned he had allegedly pointed a gun at a victim during a separate burglary — officers later recovered a stolen Hyundai containing a loaded 9mm handgun and a BB gun. 11 News
- ➤ The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is seeking two missing 12-year-olds, Ryan Capps and Donald Cooper, after they were last seen at Sproul Jr. High School and near the 5200 block of Wainwright Drive—community members should call 719-390-5555 if they have information. 11 News
- ➤ U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed that 18 of the 104 people taken into custody from a raid on an unlicensed Colorado Springs nightclub on April 27 were flagged for deportation & 86 remain in custody pending immigration proceedings. Colorado Springs Gazette

- ➤ Almost 90 dancers aged 1 to 83 will perform the full-length ballet Giselle on Saturday at Ent Center for the Arts — a production by Rachael’s School of Dance. Founder Rachael Aragon started the school 22 years ago to give students a chance to earn leading roles in full-length productions. Colorado Springs Gazette

- ➤ Manitou Springs City Council approved six contracts with the American Institute of Architects for the Hiawatha Gardens project despite council member Nancy Fortuin’s concerns about a $250,000 design fee—council members also heard plans for free transit fare on Route 3, a new service for Route 33, a proposal to reduce the local speed limit to 20 mph, and an election transparency ordinance with votes on the latter two set for May 20. - ➤ Colorado Springs Parks Advisory Board approved the master plan for Fishers Canyon Open Space—a 343-acre area in the southwest that will get 9-10 miles of new trails, bouldering zones and a fully accessible loop—and the plan, shaped by input from over 2,600 residents, reserves 66% of the land for wildlife and links to a 26-mile master-planned trail. - ➤ Home buyers in Colorado have more options as the number of homes for sale has increased roughly 50% from last year, with 24,000-25,000 active listings (a record high in over a decade). Sellers are lowering prices on nearly 29% of listings and homes are taking longer to sell, with single-family homes averaging 64 days on the market (up 12.3% from last year). KOAA News5
