  • American Medical Response’s Earn While You Learn program offers EMTs a chance to train as paramedics with hands-on instruction in an ambulance (at Penrose and St. Anthony Hospitals). GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Travelers along highways south and east of Colorado Springs should expect military convoys from today until Thursday, traveling primarily on Colorado 94 and Colorado 71 with about 1,400 vehicles (moving from Fort Carson to the Piñon Canyon Maneuver Site), officials said.  Colorado Springs Gazette

  • Discovery Canyon claimed the 5A volleyball title on Saturday by beating Fountain-Fort Carson in straight sets and overcoming Cherry Creek in four; Rampart swept its regional contest + Colorado Springs Christian earned a state berth after wins on Friday.
