ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday, a driver on I-25 north of the Cimarron exit hit a guardrail and flipped the car in the air before 2 a.m.+ police cleared the scene just before 3 a.m. while the driver escaped with no injuries. 11 News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The CSPD reported an officer-involved shooting on Sunday, April 13 at 2:46 p.m. near 4900 North Academy where a shelter-in-place order was in effect and a suspect described as about six feet tall and in his 30s wearing dark pants and a black and white hoodie remains at large—authorities say he is armed and dangerous. - ➤ Early Sunday, Colorado Springs police responded to a suspicious circumstances call at Dorchester Park near South Tejon and East Las Vegas when 42-year-old Marco Gonzalez—father of the child present—refused to obey orders and punched an officer, leading to his arrest on suspicion of assault.
