- ➤ Law enforcement cleared an illegal campsite near Green Mountain Falls after residents reported trash and trespassing; deputies first visited on March 11 and returned on March 25 with Code Enforcement and Junk King to clean the area (trash filled enough to fill a small dumpster and a tree limb structure was found). - ➤ The Air Force Academy announced on Thursday that Col. Brandon Tellez, a former fighter pilot with 300 combat hours + current senior executive officer to the Air Force vice chief of staff, will take over as commandant of cadets to lead military training for future officers.
