  • Colorado Springs hosts a rich music weekend with live performances at local favorite venues.   • Soldiers from Fort Carson visited Welte Big Picture High School in Fountain Tuesday morning to learn knife skills and flambé techniques from culinary students. The event helped both groups enhance practical cooking skills for military service and future civilian careers.  KOAA News5

  • For the last six weeks, the Front Range Passenger Rail District has held town hall meetings across several counties with residents reporting positive feedback on the rail project. Its next meeting will be on April 17 at Kinship Landing in Colorado Springs & will focus on downtown business opportunities.  11 News
  • Federal wildlife officials have opened a review of Colorado’s wolf reintroduction program and are accepting public comments through June 5 on efforts to manage conflicts between wolves and livestock, including nonlethal and lethal controls.  Colorado Springs Gazette
