- ➤ A shooting Tuesday night on the east side of Colorado Springs — in the 3700 block of Astrozon Boulevard — left one person dead after officers responded at 9 p.m. and took the victim to a local hospital, with no one in custody. Colorado Springs Gazette
- ➤ Colorado Springs Police Department is asking community members for help to find 44-year-old at-risk adult Zachary Hulsker who went missing Tuesday at 5 p.m. near Farragut Avenue & East Bijou Street; he is described as 5-foot-8 with brown hair & hazel eyes and weighs about 156 pounds. Carmel Veterans Service Center is inviting military artists, including veterans and their families, to register for an art show starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the Cottonwood Center for the Arts—entries in any medium may win awards. An officer involved shooting in Downtown resulted in the suspect’s death and led to traffic closures on Pikes Peak Ave. between Nevada and Weber, with an investigation ongoing. KOAA News5
