- ➤ Travas Deal, the new CEO of Colorado Springs Utilities, is working to boost safety and keep workers happy as he leads a $3.9 billion, five-year plan to upgrade water, gas, and wastewater systems and to look at nuclear power if the state calls it clean. - ➤ Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office located skeletal remains on Tuesday along Fountain Creek near Pinello Ranch in unincorporated El Paso County that they believe are those of missing 76-year-old Bernice Moorehead after her personal belongings were found nearby; the El Paso County Coroner’s Office will determine her official identification and cause of death. - ➤ Colorado Springs police named Ceasar Lorenzo Wilson as the suspect in the killing of UCCS professor Haleh Abghari on August 7 at her eastside residence—records show he spent seven months in a Lincoln County jail under the alias Charles Edward Wilson before being transferred on March 27 to an El Paso County jail on a no-bond hold with his court appearance set for April 9.
