  • Officials ordered evacuations for homes near HWY 115 north of Penrose Friday due to a 1,067-acre wildfire at Fort Carson; the road closure was extended and more updates are expected.  11 News

  • Air Force basketball hired Joe Crispin on Wednesday, and he aims to build a fast-paced, team-focused culture that values diverse skills.   • Colorado College senior goalie Kaidan Mbereko signed with the Cincinnati Cyclones and helped secure a 2-1 win against the Bloomington Bison on Wednesday.
