- ➤ The tourism industry in the Pikes Peak region suffered a drop last year because of fewer international visitors and high gas prices linked to war (a 15% decline recorded), but local leaders expect events like America 250 and Colorado 150 to draw more road trippers this summer. KOAA News5

- ➤ The CU Buffs and CSU Rams women's basketball teams reached the NCAA Tournament as the Buffs, in their 17th appearance, will play 10th-seeded Illinois at 7:30 p.m. Saturday while the Rams, making their 6th appearance since 2016 after winning the Mountain West Conference over Air Force, will face 5th-seeded Michigan State at 5:30 p.m. Friday. 11 News
- ➤ Colorado Paralympians competed in the Winter Paralympic Games in Milan this weekend. Athletes earned top-10 finishes in para alpine skiing and para snowboarding while Malik Jones from Aurora led the sled hockey team to gold (6 to 2 win over Canada). Colorado Springs Gazette
- ➤ Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC beat Las Vegas Lights FC three to two at Weidner Field today after key second-half plays secured their win, and they will host Azteca FC at 6 p.m. tomorrow. 11 News
