- ➤ A late night fire destroyed a dog kennel in Calhan on Feb. 7, killing one dog and leaving another in critical condition while employees and volunteer firefighters saved 30 other dogs, and the owners are now raising money to thank the volunteer fire departments. 11 News

- ➤ The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association is moving its headquarters and Hall of Fame from Colorado Springs to Cheyenne after over 75 years of history in the community.
