- ➤ El Paso County announced that Parks Executive Director Todd Marts will retire at the end of February after 31 years of service. Todd began his career in 1994 and has led improvements in parks, open spaces and community programs. El Paso County
- ➤ The City of Colorado Springs will begin installing a new traffic signal next week at the Marksheffel and Peaceful Valley Road intersection to improve safety. The western section of Peaceful Valley Road from Marksheffel Road to Pennycress Drive will close for six to eight weeks, so drivers should use detours via Poa Annua Street or Mesa Ridge Parkway.
