- ➤ Fountain-Fort Carson junior DaKari Releford gained 1,607 yards on 207 carries with 20 touchdowns last season — earning him a Peak Performer award and academic honors with a 4.2 GPA. He plans to use football as a scholarship tool while pursuing an engineering degree. Colorado Springs Gazette
