The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requires contractor’s Quality Control Managers to attend the “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” (CQM-C) course and obtain a Certificate of Completion before being allowed to perform their quality control responsibilities outlined in the contract. Certificates of Completion are valid for five years from the date of course completion.
Certification: Certification of contractor’s Quality Control Managers is obtained through successful completion of this course. Certificates are emailed to attendees approximately 1 month after the class.
Program Description: This is a one-day in-person training. The instructor is Nick Alexander, Construction Representative, USACE, Ft Carson Resident Office. This course offers prospective quality control managers / representatives the opportunity to satisfy the CQM training requirement specified in most Corps and NAVFAC construction contracts and must be taken and passed by any contractor aspiring to do work for us on projects of roughly $1 million or more, within 45 calendar days after contract award.
