About this event

This class is an homage, not to “authentic” Italian cuisine, but to what it became upon crossing the ocean and landing on these shores. This is the almost lost art of red checkered table cloth restaurants, and more importantly, of Nona’s kitchen, where food is the language of love. I will happily share with you the Sunday gravy recipe that my husband swears made him cry a little the first time he had it, lasagna that doesn’t have to take all day, (but you don’t have to tell your guests that…), and many more of these fantastic belly and heart warming classics.
