About this event

Families and friends will gather to remember their loved ones as thousands of tree lights sparkle on the grounds of the Pioneers Museum for the 42nd annual Trees of Life ceremony, hosted by Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care.

The beloved holiday tradition features warm beverages and treats, inspirational remarks, music, the solemn reading of names of lost loved ones, and the spectacular lighting of trees for the season. The lights represent the memory of those who have touched our lives and are no longer with us.

Hundreds of candles on the museum’s south plaza will set the mood, with music being provided by Soli deo Gloria Choir.

Military members and first responders will be remembered by the illumination of the gazebo outside the Pioneers Museum in special red, white and blue lights in their honor. The trees will remain lit throughout the holiday season.
