About this event
“The Lord bless us and watch over us;
The Lord make his face shine upon us and be gracious to us;
The Lord look kindly on us and give us peace.”
These are the words that close the service of Compline, the last service of the Daily Office since the 6th century. Here in this season of Advent, when we are praying and watching for the coming of Christ, we invite you to this special time of evening prayer that focuses on two things—the light of Christ shining in the darkness and God’s protective care over our lives. A service rich with Scripture, choral music, peace, and beauty, this will be an opportunity to lay our cares at God’s throne.
Come light a candle with our friends at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on December 6th.
“Utterly transcendent.” — Brian Brown
