About this event
Great performance starts long before you step onto the ice. Designed specifically for elite young athletes—and in collaboration with Rampage Academy dietician Kelly Ping—this hands-on meal-prep class teaches young hockey players and figure skaters about the connection between food, energy, recovery and competitive excellence.
Working in our commercial kitchen, athletes will prepare practical breakfast, lunch and dinner options built around the nutritional demands of active, growing bodies—including quality carbohydrates for energy, protein for muscle recovery and development, healthy fats, and nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables.
Just as importantly, everything on the menu is designed for real life. Rampage Academy members will be taught how to prepare meals that can be made ahead, refrigerated or frozen, packed for school, reheated between practices, or eaten on the go during busy training and competition schedules.
Along the way, participants will understand the basics of fueling before activity, replenishing after training, staying hydrated and making smarter everyday food choices. Rather than focusing on dieting or restriction, the class emphasizes fueling, recovery, growth and giving the body what it needs to perform at a high level.
Your athletes leave with practical kitchen skills for meal prep—and a better understanding of how what they put on their plate can support what they ask their bodies to do.
