Salsa & Bachata Social Dance Skills Lab

This 90-Minute class is designed to help you develop your Salsa and Bachata skills and apply them in a social dance setting. Here's what you can expect: Equal focus on Salsa and Bachata: The class is split into two sections, starting with Salsa at 1:30 PM and transitioning to Bachata at 2:15 PM. Partnerwork Emphasis: This class is all about dancing with a partner and developing your social dance skills. Improvisational Skills: This class will support you in being able to dance with many different dancers, regardless of their skill level, style of training, or dancers who have never formally trained. This class will teach to be able to identify which dancer you are with and make adjustments accordingly. Tailored Progressive Learning: Each month, we will focus on a single social dance concept and develop 1-2 patterns. Students may jump into class at any time as each month will be a concept that no one has seen. All Level Learning: This class will be providing teaching in many layers that will allow a beginner or intermediate dancer to thrive. Etiquette Included: We'll also cover the important elements of social dance etiquette. This class is suitable for both newer dancers who want to learn partnerwork and more experienced dancers who want to refine their technique and styling. It's also a great way to prepare for our monthly social dances! Studio Members can use membership or class packages to attend this class!
